Amy Suto: On bridging the gap between creative work and what it means to run a creative business

A recording from Maria Papacostas's live video

Thank you to everyone who joined my conversation with Amy Suto.

She’s one of my favorite entrepreneurs right now. Starting her career in Hollywood as a writer for MGM, she noticed that her romanticized dream of being a Hollywood writer meant all the money would go to the executives, and she’d work on rinse-and-repeat plots.

So what did she do?

She started somewhere (else)… She created a freelancing business, which ultimately led her to author her own best-selling book.

Amy is my favorite combination of qualities: fearless, creative, and entrepreneurial.

Thanks for this fun conversation, Amy.
